CLEAR Institute Doctor Certification Process

At CLEARTM Institute, our reputation is built upon our results, and our mission – providing people with scoliosis treatment that is an effective, viable alternative to bracing & surgery – it is too important to leave anything up to chance.  For this reason, we require an exhaustive and comprehensive certification process before a doctor is allowed to call themselves, “CLEARTM-certified.”

When a doctor takes the CLEARTM Institute Scoliosis Correction seminar series, we begin by introducing them to the current literature & research on scoliosis and the effects it has upon the lives of those who suffer from it.  The gravity & impact of scoliosis are often underestimated, even by health professionals.  Much of the reason for this, no doubt, stems from the fact that, for the last 2,000 years, medicine has had very little in the way of actual hope & healing to offer scoliosis patients.  So, unfortunately, not much attention has been devoted to it in the curriculums of medical & chiropractic colleges.  Ameliorating this knowledge gap is the first step in creating “Scoliosis Experts.” In order to effectively treat any condition, one must understand the factors at work behind it.  The entire seminar series is taught through the PostGraduate Curriculum at Parker University of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas and sponsored for Continuing Education credit nationwide.

Upon completion of the seminar, however, the doctor’s journey towards becoming CLEARTM-certified has only just begun.  A written exam ensures their comprehension of the material, and possessing all of the equipment necessary to implement the CLEARTM protocols is obviously also a strict requirement; not even Tiger Woods could compete successfully if all he had was a putter and a nine-iron.  Once the doctor begins implementing the CLEARTM protocols in their office, they are required to submit a Case Study to CLEARTMInstitute, including all of the x-rays, notes, & documentation, which is reviewed by several members of the CLEARTM Institute Board of Advisors to certify that the doctor is following the protocols correctly.  After the Case Study has been reviewed and approved, the applicant is granted permission to take the final certification exam, which is held at the CLEARTM Scoliosis Treatment and Research Center in Dallas, Texas.  This two-hour, hands-on practical exam follows the doctor through every step of the protocol, from x-ray positioning & set-up to home spinal rehabilitation exercises, and validates their clinical competency to effectively treat & manage cases of scoliosis.

To maintain CLEARTM certification requires that the doctor maintain active status with CLEARTM in order to stay current with new exercises & updates to the protocol, and attend at least one hands-on workshop every year (scoliosis is a disease of much complexity, and although we have unraveled many mysteries & made several significant advances in the realm of scoliosis treatment, we always reserve the right to get smarter).  We also request that the doctor continue to submit Case Studies, one per year, to ensure they are incorporating & using the new material as well.

While these conditions no doubt may seem strict and authoritarian to some, they are necessary to ensure that our standards of quality are reproduced at every clinic which claims to utilize the protocols we teach at the seminar. Please do not accept imitations!  While it may seem like a small matter to leave out one step of the protocols, if you are traveling from San Francisco to New York, and miss just one exit, your ultimate destination may be somewhere entirely different than where you intended.  Do not take chances with your spine; the results you see demonstrated on the CLEARTM Institute website can only be achieved by doctors who utilize the equipment and protocols correctly and in totality.  There are no substitutes for RESULTS.
